Artemis was born in Duluth, Minnesota in 2000 and grew up in Yorktown, Virginia. They will receive their BFA in General Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Spring 2025. Artemis’ art has been shown in group exhibits around MICA’s campus in the Main, Fox, and Lazarus buildings as well as a solo exhibition at Frothy Moon Brewhouse in Williamsburg, Virginia. They have been awarded the Samson Feldman Scholarship in Art Education. Taking inspiration from the natural world around us, Artemis creates drawings, photos, and textile work that creates a dialogue about relationships, mental illness, and generational trauma. They currently reside and work in Baltimore, Maryland.
